I’ve been closely monitoring the Google ads on my page to see how well contextualised they are. They’ve mostly been blog ads, so to try and skew the weightings a bit and get something more useful I changed Ian Gilfillan’s blog to Ian Gilfillan’s web log (this posting probably undoes all the good work!). That seemed to work, as today’s Google ads picked up on the word Reagan from my previous post. Unfortunately they seemed to ignore the word ‘villainous’ as the ads were offering the opportunity to own an audio recording of ‘Reagan’s beautiful funeral’. Quite humerous, but a tough one for Google to pick up on!
