Congratulations to everyone who contributed to the Telecoms Action Group’s ad that appeared in today’s Mail and Guardian.
It’s great to see South African consumers (how I dislike that word) getting together. And a sign of just how frustrated people are with Telkom and the current situation. TAG still has some money left over, so why not make some suggestions what to do in future campaigns.
Lending timeous extra support to the campaign (and speaking the language that government understands), Reuters said yesterday that excessive Telkom charges are preventing it from ploughing more money into South Africa.
I’ve personally vowed not to spend another cent with Telkom after some recent experiences. And while that may help my stress levels, it doesn’t help my pocket, and it unfortunately doesn’t help repair the nationwide damage caused by the ongoing debacle.
